FLOWERING PLANTS (Roses, Hibiscus, Gardenias, etc.) and tend those on our Street View. Depending on interest and organization, perhaps some harvested blooms might go to members homes and nursing homes, and for a Flower Show.

ORCHIDS AND EPIPHYTICS: bromeliads, air plants (Tillandsias)

SUCCULENTS: Plants such as Cactus, Agave, Aloe, Yucca, and Ponytail Palms Ghost plants, Sedum, Kalanchoe, Portulacaria

HERBS & SPICES: microgreens, teas, potpourri

 

POLLINATORS: plants in our Pollinator Garden, Butterflies, bees, Ruby-throated Hummingbird spring and fall migrations

CONTAINER GARDENING: Plants-in-Pots group for growing all types of plants indoors, balconies, and limited garden space: Includes Hydroponics, pest control, artificial lighting.

HANDS-ON GARDENING SERIES: Planned monthly sessions timed to Clearwater’s growing season from Sept to our May Plant Sale.

 

BINGO! we’re setting up scheduled BINGO games, for fun, and for fundraising.

CULINARY: For those interested in cooking, sampling and sharing favorite foods, especially using what we’ve grown.

DANCE: With our new dance floor, there are many opportunities and with the Clearwater Dance Depot

SOCIAL AND CLUB EVENTS: Bandingo, Card and Game parties, annual Flower Show,

EDUCATION: Civic outreach, working with schools and other organizations to share our love of gardening and the Environment.

 

BIRDS IN OUR GARDEN: Install on-site bird habitats, houses and baths and utilize the fountain on our site. Install a live-cam on our website for nests, bird watching. Audubon bird watching activities can emphasize our coastal location and seabirds

 

OTHER: Our Clubhouse is available for small Member gatherings that are not garden related (book club, mahjong,  meditation) etc.  Share your passion, email us at clearwatergardenclub@gmail.com
