Friday, 3/14/2025, 11AM –  Volunteers needed for about half an hour to set up our Club for tomorrow’s Board Meeting and General Meeting. If you can help, please phone Alice at 314-276-5697, or Mike at 727-215-5267 

 

Saturday, 3/15/2025, 10AM  –  Executive Board Meeting.

 

Saturday, 3/15/2025, 11AM – ANNUAL General Members Meeting and Election of Officers. The Slate of Nominees presented to Membership on Feb 15 will be considered, and nominations shall be called for from the floor.  Election details are in our Bylaws, ON OUR WEBSITE.

 

Our program presenter will be Bessie Morse, Master Gardener from St. Petersburg Garden Club who will speak about propagating plants.  She will ask members to bring cuttings for outdoor demonstration. You will bring home a lovely plant. Suggested donation is $10. Hospitality: Gladys Seney.

 

Friday, 3/21/2025, 9AM – The Garden Club Gentlemen invite all to join them for breakfast and stimulating conversation each 3rd Friday of the month.  We’ll savor the delectable breakfasts at Castillo's Restaurant, 1724 N Fort Harrison Ave (MAP) , Clearwater, on Alt 19 only a half mile north of the Club.

Tuesday, 4/1/2025 – Annual Dues are due, in order for us to have adequate time to collect and send to FFGC. 

 

Saturday, 4/19/2025, 11AM – Members Meeting, Installation of Officers, followed by Potluck Luncheon. 

 

Tuesday, 5/1/2025 –  Membership annual dues to be sent to FFGC. GET PAYMENTS IN EARLY

 

Saturday, 5/10/2025, 9AM to 1PM –  Clearwater Garden Club Mother’s Day Plant Sale. Consider starting and cultivating plants well in advance.

 

~~BINGO NIGHT IDEAS BEING SOUGHT~~

A possible lucrative activity to raise money for our Club is to host BINGO occasionally at our Club. We have the facilities, and a kitchen to sell concessions.  If anyone has been involved in setting up or running BINGO, please contact Mike Flanery, at 727-215-5267, Mike@flanery.org
