There are many ways to participate in Club Activities. Below are a partial and expanding list of possibilities. ​WE ARE VERY OPEN TO NEW AND INNOVATIVE IDEAS that fulfill our mission and build community.

Those who volunteer new to these activites will be guided by a friendly mentor who will work with you. We always realize that we are ALL learners, that we're trying, and learn by experimenting and trying.

​May 7 - 8 Mother’s Day Plant sale preparation, manage plant drop off. 4 hr blocks,
May 9: Mother’s Day Plant Sale -- the day before Mother's Day -- for gift giving. 6 members needed. Including sale of plants, tools, floral arrangements, garden decor & jewelry.
June 20, 2026 Summer Solstice Party: Toast the Sunset and each other from the the back of our Clubhose. The longest day of the year, and the days get shorter until the end of the year.
July 3 - 5, 4th of July weekend Boat Trailer Parking attendants, Fri, Sat, Sun July 3-5, 2026. We are endowed with a paved parking lot, and during holiday overflow days, we can open it up to boaters with trailers who have no other convenient place to park. Two attendants each Day (two actual hours, doubled to 5 hrs due to weather and inconvenience. Donations for parking are taken on Ziffy, and they generate considerable income to support the Club.

Sep 5-7, Labor Day weekend Boat Trailer Parking attendants Sat, Sun, Mon Sep 5-7, 2026, 2 volunteers each day, 4 hrs each (two actual hours, doubled due to weather and inconvenience
Bell Ringing Remembrance, Sunset at Club to remember those who are no longer with us. late Spring (Date To Be Decided by Volunteers) 2 members, 3 hrs.
Garden Cleanup and Plantings: Multiple times throughout the year. 2 hrs. each scheduled event CHECK WITH LANDSCAPE TEAM LEADER.
BINGO: As a 502 (c) 3 organization, our club can host Bandingo. Members must run the games, which can be a lot of fun. Proceeds must be used for Club purposes and could be a great help in fulfilling our Clubs mission and vision. A A Club member has already volunteered to lead for this project, but help is needed.

Hosting General Member Meetings -3 hrs. Setup, Chairs, AV and electronics, cleanup.
BANDINGO - Musical Bingo, at the Club. While no sessions have yet to be scheduled, (No sessions scheduled yet): We have hosted Bandingo several times, and Club Members and Guests found it a fun social event. An MC and Host company is available. Help is needed with arrangements, parking, Web payment details and money collection, cleanup.

First- Saturday Monthly Vendor Plant Sales from our Parking Lot, and perhaps coodinate with our adjoining neighbor "A Mothers Arms" as a dual fundraiser. In addition to rental fees, this would increase awareness of our Club, provide a source of income for small businesses, and offer plants to those in our Neighborhood.
INDOOR PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITES
Digitize club archived records and historical scrap books (a high quality book scanner (which eliminates book seams ias it scans to an OCR- searchable text format is available for loan)
Draw and maintain Landscape Map, showing irrigation piping, plant locations, activity zones

Participate in Phone Trees, email follow-though, and community contacts
Assist Treasurer for membership and other data entry.
Digital media postings such as Facebook and Instagram
