November 9: Fashion Show by Patchington Boutique & Luncheon - Join us as we view current fashions from local favorite Patchington, known for crafting contemporary classics with fun colors, comfort and care. Fashions and accessories will be available for purchase. $20 ticket cost includes lunch, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
November 16: Board Meeting at 9 a.m. and Sue Witwer, a Consulting Rosarian in Ohio, will share hints and tips for growing roses. Sue is currently the President of the Miami Valley Rose Society in Dayton, Ohio; a member of the American Rose Society (ARS), a member of the Bradenton - Sarasota Rose Society, and the past president of the Garden Club Federation of Dayton & Vicinity. Sue is currently a member of the Valley View Garden Club and the Clearwater Garden Club. Light refreshments will be available and an opportunity drawing will be held. December 15: Clearwater Garden Club (CGC) Holiday Party (Potluck), 3-6 p.m., RSVP required. CGC Members and Family Celebration of the Holidays. Bring your best dish, be it an appetizer, main or desert and join in this afternoon celebrate another Holiday Season at CGC. In lieu of our annual Gift Sway, funds will be collected to send children to Wekiva Youth Camp. Opportunity 50/50 Drawing.

February 15: Board Meeting at 9 a.m. and Carnivorous Plant Care and its History at 10:30 a.m. Learn carnivorous plant care and their history presented by a vegetarian! With over 650 species found globally, it’s easy to find one that will grow for you. Kenny Coogan, of Critter Companions, is a local middle school science and agriculture teacher who cofounded a carnivorous plant club in New York. Coogan grows and sells carnivorous plants in the Tampa area's plant sales, where he has lived for the past 7 years. Light refreshments will be available and an opportunity drawing will be held.
