Florida Federation of Garden Clubs 90th Anniversary Celebration

Members of CGC attended the 90th Anniversary of Florida Federation of Garden Clubs at FFGC Headquarters in Winter Park. It was a wonderful day of fun, with both contemporary and traditional elements. Ground was broken for a new garden there, and hats and gloves were worn against the backdrop of some very contemporary arrangements at the district flower show. The variety of vendors, personalities and activities at the celebration affirmed to all in attendance that Garden Clubs are firmly rooted in the past while creating a legacy to continue on for the future. Those in attendance included Janice Hamlin, Dist. VIII Director, Jan Sillik, Past Presdent FFGC, and Al Latina, 3rd Vice Presdent FFGC.
